Naomi returns to Heathrow with a friendly smile for the officers who arrested her

Updated 12:43pm on 24 Apr 2008

Naomi Campbell may have returned to the scene of the crime, but this time she came in peace.

There was no sign of her notoriously fiery temper as surprisingly friendly Naomi took the time to greet a couple of the police officers who arrested her at Heathrow just two weeks ago.

Towering over them in sky-scraper heels, the troubled supermodel even bent down to share a joke with the WPCs.

Having been banned from British Airways after a row with cabin staff, Naomi, 37, opted for Virgin Atlantic instead for her trip to New York on Sunday.

Earlier this month, Naomi allegedly assaulted a police officer who came on board in an attempt to defuse an argument over missing luggage.

Following her bad behaviour, BA decided to ban the London-born model from all future flights.

Her spokeswoman said: "Naomi has been flying with BA for nearly 30 years and has been a good customer. She hopes this can be resolved amicably."

Upon realising one of her bags were missing, Campbell demanded the flight was delayed.

The flight eventually took off two hours late after Campbell was forcibly removed from the plane in handcuffs.

After being questioned by police, Campbell was released on bail on Friday. She is yet to be formally charged for any offence.

How false a smile is that?

She should be jailed for her constant violent conduct. If it was Mr or Mrs Average that is exactly what would have happened. But once again its one law for the rich and one for the workers!!

What a ghastly woman!

What a lovely photo, just shows the real person behind all the nasty stories. I think most of the UK have been utterly shocked at the antics of British Airways. Good for Naomi for standing up to them. Some say she's lucky they banned her, I would strongly agree!
