Cheryl Cole steps out looking painfully thin as friends worry she is 'wasting away'
Updated 12:00pm on 22 Apr 2008Cheryl Cole is said to be 'wasting away' as she battles to save her marriage to Ashley Cole.
The Girls Aloud singer, 24, is believed to have dropped two dress sizes since revelations that her Premiership footballer husband cheated on her with a hairdresser hit the headlines.
Over the weekend more pictures emerged of Cheryl popping into a petrol station to get cash looking painfully thin, with a bony upper frame.

One friend told the News of the World: "Cheryl's weight has plummeted. She was a size ten. Now she has to buy size six outfits.
"Cheryl's closest friends are urging her to eat. She looks painfully thin and her appetite seems to have disappeared.
"She's trying to move on and make a go of things with him."
However, Cole insists that her new, slight figure is simply due to her fitness regime and that she is not 'a victim'.
She said: 'I've had to watch my weight and do rigorous workouts to keep trim.'

If there was anyone else in Cheryl's situation she would be the first one to criticise them for sticking it out with the husband. Didn't she so famously say she would never put up with anyone cheating on her. Well she is now - that's her decision - but I for one am sick and tired of hearing about how thin she is and how miserable she is. If she is that miserable she knows what to do - kick Ashley to the kerb, divorce him and get on with her life. Yes easier said than done but she has a choice. Which other women don't as they are unable to support themselves financially or are in this country and can't speak the language. So a little perspective.

I have no idea who this woman is but I wouldn't have thought that her marriage problems being publicised would help much. Perhaps she should try to lie low for a while and concentrate on keeping her marriage together.

She looks painfully thin. At least we can put an end to the debate whether she has fake breasts. They don't seem to have lost any weight!
