Grammy award-winning singer Amy Winehouse could be facing arrest and a possible six month jail sentence after she allegedly attacked TWO men while on a drug-fuelled bender.

The drug addict singer, 24, faces a police quiz after claims she 'headbutted' a man who was trying to help the singer get a cab outside a bar, and then was said to have allegedly punched a second victim in the face.

According to the Sun, a source said the singer also kissed a mystery man at a nightspot, and in one bar threw drinks around and overturned tables while she screamed 'I am a legend...I want to take drugs'.

Facing arrest: Out of control Amy Winehouse is facing arrest after allegedly attacking TWO men following a drugs and alcohol binge on Tuesday night

It is also claimed she was later seen smoking drugs in the street and angered a taxi driver by paying only half her promised fare home.

The night degenerated after Amy arrived at The Good Mixer in Camden, north London with Mik Whitnall, guitarist in Pete Doherty's group Babyshambles, after spending the day drinking at her home, she visited a friend's flat where she acquired a change of vests before heading for a nightclub.

It was 8.30 on Tuesday night when Miss Winehouse left her flat in Camden, North London, wearing tight denims and a black string vest. She headed for a nearby pub frequented by musician friends.

Once inside, she is said to have hit Mustapha el Mounmi after he refused to give way to her at the pool table.

The 27-year-old Moroccan musician said: "I feel so angry. She smashed my face hard. I could not hit back- she's a woman."

It was a new low for Amy who was reportedly high on Class A drugs, and was seen in the streets of Camden looking wild-eyed, confused and unsteady on her feet following a six-hour pub crawl.

After playing pool, Amy returned to her flat, but emerged to visit nearby Bar Tok at 2am.

A source told The Sun: "She was off her face, throwing drinks around and turning over tables.

"Amy screamed, 'I am a legend, get these people out. I want to take drugs."

The dishevelled and thin star then reportedly kissed her mystery friend before leaving at 2.45am.

A good samaritan then tried to get her a cab, but she reportedly thought he was trying to molest her and allegedly headbutted him in the face.

The alleged victim went to police yesterday and reported his claim, sparking the police probe. Sources told The Sun that Amy will be arrested.

If convicted of assault, she could face up to six months' jail and a £2,000 fine.

After arriving home at 4am Amy then had to break into her own home in the early hours yesterday after losing her keys.

Her state is now such that she is being accused of shaming her husband - who is in prison awaiting trial on charges of assault and conspiring to pervert the course of justice

It is also claimed at one point she emerged and tried to punch and headbutt a man in the street before buying the early editions of yesterday's papers and heading for home, where she had to gain entry via the garage.

Georgette Civil, mother of Miss Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil, said: "Blake will get stick about this from fellow inmates.

"Her behaviour has spiralled out of control. She's made a complete fool of herself and I hope my son divorces her."

Dressed in a black mesh vest which revealed her cherry print bra, cut-off jeans and her trademark ballet pumps, the singer's scrawny body, and pale weathered face appeared to confirm that she is again in the grip of a severe dependence on drugs and alcohol.

Amy's family must be feeling a renewed sense of despair as the singer – recently nominated for an unprecedented three Ivor Novello awards .

Amy's bender came after the star had been holed up at producer Mark Ronson's house concentrating on finishing the much-anticipated theme tune to the next Bond film, Quantum of Solace.

Earlier this week the troubled singer was seen smoking what appeared to be a joint as she arrived back at her Camden home after an evening of partying.

Her eyes were bloodshot and again she looked dishevelled - a sight unlikely to impress her record company bosses, who reportedly threatened to stop her releasing any new material until she cleans up her act.

On Monday, Amy was nominated for three Ivor Novello awards, which reward excellence in songwriting compositions.

People enjoy seeing her like this! We like being able to sneer at the famous and feel superior and righteous. Photographers lay in wait trying to get photos like this, and her "friends" obviously don't want her stay clean. She needs to want be clean, and that means admitting she has a problem, getting herself back into rehab and ditching her friends. Sadly, she may not want to get better. Maybe she wants to be a legend in death. Maybe she wants to come to a tragic end. The paps, the press and her friends may actually help her accomplish that.

Barbie you have just totally contradicted your self! You have clicked on the story so you are one of those people keeping her in the press as well! I like to see what antics she has been up to and seeing what a mess she is but it does not mean I like her.

She's a train wreck.

I reckon I'll be collecting my winnings from the bookies soon.
