With two months to go until her wedding, Coleen McLoughlin has taken five of her closest friends on a week-long hen party in Miami.

Wearing a skimpy bikini, the 22-year-old looked fit and toned as she chilled out with her friends by the pool of her ocean-front hotel on the first day of her Florida jaunt.

Among the party is fiance Wayne Rooney's cousin Claire, who will be maid of honour at the couple's June wedding near Genoa.

The party had spent the previous evening drinking in one of the hotel bars, before turning in for an early night after their nine-hour flight from London.

"The girls were having a great time, laughing and joking in the bar," said one witness.

"But they were all saying how tired they were. They all seemed it such high spirits that I'm sure they'll be partying all week."

Indeed, it seems doubtful that she'll find time to take in the crucial first leg of her fiance's Champions League semi-final tonight when Manchester United take on Barcelona in Spain.

Coleen has barred many of the Rooneys from the upmarket Italian Riviera wedding celebrations after being embarrassed by their behaviour at other events.

Now however, the pair are keen to settle their differences, despite the fact that there will still be two separate receptions – an A-list celebration at the villa, from which many of the Rooneys are excluded, and a more low key one in Merseyside, to which the clan will be allowed.

"I really hope that I get an invite to the party in Liverpool, as I would love to go. When I spoke out before [about Coleen] it was because I was hurt.

"I really hope this could be a chance to mend any bridges that have been broken," Stephen told Reveal magazine.

The rift began when Coleen's 18th birthday bash descended into a brawl between the two families, to which police were called.

Then Natalie was snapped flashing her breast at photographers after Coleen's 21st birthday celebrations.

Stephen then angered the Manchester United star by dressing up as a WAG for a magazine and revealing how he fancied one of his team-mates.

Meanwhile, Wayne and Coleen's wedding banns raised a few eyebrows when they were posted yesterday at Crewe register office. The banns had to be posted to enable anyone to raise objections to their union.

She describes herself as a journalist, although she's more famous for being a WAG and a part-time TV fashion presenter, while he is listed as a professional footballer, incorrectly spelt 'proffesional'.
