The My Family star was on his way home after a night out in Bristol when he was hit by the vehicle near the city's Hippodrome nightclub.

Kris Marshall was treated by paramedics as he lay injured in the road in the centre of Bristol
A source told The Daily Mirror: "He was sprawled in the road, not moving. It looked fatal.
"There was a real commotion and lots of people were milling around. It looked very serious."
The area is known to be an accident black spot, with 25 casualties over the last three years prompting calls for it to be closed to traffic at night.
Marshall, 35, who made his name playing gormless son Nick Harper opposite Zoe Wanamaker and Robert Lindsay in the BBC sitcom My Family, was treated by paramedics at the scene for severe head injuries.
He was taken to Bristol Royal Infimary early on Sunday morning. It is hoped he will be discharged within a few days.
The actor's spokesman said: "His condition has improved in the last 24 hours and he is expected to make a full recovery."
Six years ago he was named Best Comedy Newcomer in the British Comedy Awards.

He lives in Windsor and also has a home in Cornwall.

Kris is a great actor and I wish him well but I doubt that picture is of him, if you look at the larger version of it the whole thing appears to be in daylight as you can see the colour, make and model of parked cars in the background despite it being 1am.
