How a man in Miami drove Wayne Rooney wild: Coleen returns home to face the music after hen party antics

Eight weeks before his wedding, no groom wants to see pictures of his fiancee dancing with another man.

It's an even bigger blow to his ego if his workmates see them too.

So when Wayne Rooney's colleagues at Manchester United began ribbing him over newspaper photographs of Coleen McLoughlin dancing with other men at her hen party, in a Miami nightclub, the footballer had to take a stand.

Egged on by players on the team bus at the weekend, Rooney, 22, gave his fiancee a talking-to.

And by the look on her face as she arrived for the Champions League game at Old Trafford last night, she didn't take it with good grace.

Wayne's mood was unlikely to be much better, as he was forced to sit out the match because of a hip injury.

A friend said. "Wayne saw all the pictures. His team-mates were having a laugh and a joke about it. He was getting the mickey taken out of him.

"He texted Coleen sarcastically saying something like, 'Glad you're having such a great time - don't forget about me!'.

"Later he phoned her. Wayne basically told her she was making a fool out of him. The pair had a heated exchange.

"Coleen said she was just having a good time with her friends. She reminded him of times he'd been caught out in the past."

They soon calmed down, but not before Miss McLoughlin, 22, set some rules to ensure her fiance's stag do in Las Vegas is a relatively civilised affair, the friend added.

Their spokesman said Rooney "wasn't surprised the other blokes were after her", adding: "Yes, the pictures caused comment between Wayne and his teammates. But there is genuinely no issue at all."

Tucking in: Coleen munches on a McDonalds in Miami

Coleen flew back to England yesterday as she prepared to face her husband-to-be.

Prior to getting on her flight home, Coleen and a pal tucked into a McDonald's in Miami airport, where she happily chowed down on french fries.

The meal is probably the last meal you'd expect a celebrity bride to tuck into so close to her big day.

Coleen's mood was no brighter earlier in the day as she arrived at London's Heathrow airport from Miami before transferring to a flight to Manchester.

Although she looked remarkably fresh-faced and glamorous in white skinny jeans, black top, an Alexander McQueen and her usual staple of four-inch heels, Coleen looked anything but happy to be back from her hen party.

The Closer magazine columnist struggled at the airport as she attempted to keep hold of her two large hand luggage bags - including an oversized Tory Burch tote bag.

She and Rooney are due to marry in a £3million ceremony in Italy this June.
