Pregnant actress Angelina Jolie looked fit to burst as she stepped out for a helicopter ride with partner Brad Pitt over the weekend.

The Tomb Raider star, 32, and Brad, 44, are currently staying on the French Riviera for the summer with their four children.

On Saturday, Angelina and Brad left three of their children at home with the nannies to take three-year-old daughter Zahara Marley for the house-hunting trip to Monaco.

Clutching a huge leather bag that was even bigger than her ever expanding bump, Angelina looked ready to pop as she waddled down the runway at the principality's heliport.

Although Angelina initially hid her bump in flowing, shapeless dresses, she has recently decided to embrace her growing stomach with clingy fashion statements.

Pictured in Monaco, Angelina combined her recent maternity style with her penchant for the colour black with a satin v-neck, floor-length gown, ballet bumps and bag.

Getting ready for baby: the family are expected to stay in France until Angelina gives birth

Brad and Angelina arrived in St Jean Cap Ferrat in the south of France last week with their four children, two nannies and three bodyguards.

According to local sources, the family are staying at Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's Villa Maryland while they look for a permanent French holiday home.

Angelina is keen to have a French base - in addition to the houses they have in New Orleans, LA, and Cambodia - in preparation for the birth this summer.

Angelina has confirmed her pregnancy, but refused to comment on reports she is expecting twins.

As well as Ethiopian-born Zahara, the couple are also adoptive parents to Cambodian Maddox, six; and Vietnamese Pax Thien, four, and biological parents to Shiloh Nouvel, 23 months.

On Saturday, the couple spent several hours in Monte Carlo viewing a large property, before taking the helicopter back to St Jean Cap Ferrat.

Meanwhile, the couple have been ranked No. 21 on Time magazine's list of most influential people of the world because of their humanitarian work.

In the Time article, their friend George Clooney said: "It is one thing to talk about the problems of the world and quite another to actually try to change things.

"There are hundreds of people who could be honoured for their good works, but I've seen Brad and Angelina firsthand, and their commitment together is truly impressive."
