Apprentice Jen says her love life's ruined

Marrakech mission: Jenny Celerier and Michael Sophocles on TV last night

Apprentice contestant Jenny Celerier says being on the reality TV show has ruined her love life.

The 36-year-old saleswoman left the programme with Jennifer Maguire last night in a surprise double sacking.

Jenny said she was shocked to be told: "You're fired," by Sir Alan Sugar, but added that her personal life is now doomed because men are scared of her bitchy on-screen personality.

She added: "Blokes don't come anywhere near me. They've seen me acting like a bitch on the show and given me a wide berth."

Last night the contestants were sent to Marrakech to haggle with market traders and buy 10 specific listed items, all at the lowest price possible.

Sir Alan accused the redhead of being "a bit of a snake" after she tried to bribe a shop owner to stop him selling his goods to the rival team. Jenny said it had been a "survival strategy", adding: "I thought Sir Alan would pat me on the back and send me to the top of the class for that."

The mother-of-one says she is nasty 23 hours of the day, with just one hour off.

"There's a one-hour window first thing in the morning when I'm refreshed and can be soft and kind-hearted," she said. "But after that it's finished, I run out of niceness."

Jennifer Maguire, 27, leading her team on last night's BBC1 show, watched by 7.5 million, was fired for her lack of planning and mistakes made by "people out of control". She and her side were criticised for failing to correctly identify a kosher chicken and debating about whether it could be blessed in a mosque - despite team-mate Michael Sophocles claiming to be a " good Jewish boy".

Sir Alan embarrassed Michael, 24, by threatening to pull his trousers down to see if his claims were true.

Michael then confessed to being only half-Jewish, but Sir Alan spared him the sack because "you are young and sometimes I have to look back and reflect on overenthusiasm I might have had in my young days".

Ms Maguire, who described herself as the best salesperson in Europe, was given the boot instead, but said that taking part in the show had been a "fantastic experience".

She added that being fired also meant she was able to escape Michael who, she claimed, had constantly bragged about his manhood.

I can't say I feel sorry for her as she was a spiteful madam throughout. Besides that is what happens to nasty bullies... They're being picked off one by one and what goes around comes around...
