Now 'drugs-free' Pete Doherty gets a kick visiting his son
Last updated at 11:32am on 19.05.08Pete Doherty and Lisa Moorish appear to be putting their chequered past behind them - for the sake of their son.
Freed from jail, complete with a "drugs free" certificate, the Babyshambles singer is trying to organise a regular schedule to see his five-year-old son Astile, and former lover Lisa is keen to make it work.
DJ Lisa banned Doherty from seeing Astile shortly after his birth in 2003 because at the time Doherty was reported to have a £1,000-a-day heroin habit.

But the pair, who have remained friends, are now in talks to try to ensure Doherty can be a part of the boy's life if he can stay clean.
"Lisa kept Pete away from Astile because of his drug habit," a friend tells me.
"But she cares very deeply for both of them and Lisa wants to believe that Pete really has kicked his habit so he can enjoy a real relationship with his son."
Doherty, 29, and Lisa, 36, were reunited at a Babyshambles gig last week after his release from a 29-day stretch for breaching a drugs order.

Doherty also snubbed a party in his honour at Amika nightclub in favour of an early night.
The friend said: "Pete was supposed to be hosting the night but headed home instead."
Sounds like a promising start.
