Presenter Myleene Klass packed up her stuff to head to the world's most famous film festival, but there was one essential she decided she couldn't travel without - her eight month old baby Ava.

Pushing a sleek black pushchair, which co-ordinated nicely with her monochrome strapless prom dress, Myleene was seen in Cannes to work with a film crew at the annual film festival.

But clearly, she was keen that baby Ava should come along too.

Pushing baby: Myleene Klass hit Cannes with the hottest showbiz accessory - a baby buggy. The TV presenter was seen dining out last night

Later Myleene and Ava went for dinner with a group, but Myleene made sure to keep her daughter entertained with a series of funny faces.

And despite her recent claims that she was finding it difficult to combine work and motherhood, a relaxed Myleene appeared to be making a pretty good go of it.

The star who found fame in the television reality show Popstars recently revealed her struggle to combine motherhood with her burgeoning career.

Myleene, who only gave birth to daughter Ava last August, admitted that her punishing work schedule as a TV and radio presenter and model was beginning to take its toll.

She said: "I think the 'yummy mummy' tag is really funny. I don't feel that yummy first thing in the morning or during the night feeds. Mums with multiple children - I just don't know how they do it.

"I am tired, tired all the time," she says. "Sometimes I feel like crying because I am so tired. People say I make it look easy, but I don't have any of the answers, I'm still trying to figure things out.

She revealed her seven-year relationship with Quinn has been so strained since Ava was born three weeks prematurely last August, and said she is sick of people deriding her for her ambition.

Working mother: Earlier Myleene donned her Christian Louboutin stilettos while she filmed at the Cannes Film Festival

"In the weeks after Ava was born I genuinely wanted to kill him," she said.

"I was knackered from looking after the baby and then he would come home and say something worthy of murder like: 'Jeez, I'm so tired, I haven't eaten all day.' I wasn't in a good place and I even told one of my friends that I was going to leave Gray."

She added: "I don't want people to think I don't appreciate my life - or that I am moaning. I know that I am lucky. Sometimes I walk around my new house and I can't believe it's mine. And when Ava wakes me up in the morning by grabbing my nose I know I have never been happier.

"All I am saying is that while being a mother is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done, it hasn't been easy."

Myleene worked right up to having Ava - she went into labour while presenting The One Show on the BBC - and was back at work just three weeks after Ava was born.
