With the Spice Girls tour now just a distant memory, Mel B is pulling out all stops to stay in the spotlight.

The attention-loving singer made a grand - and decidedly tacky - arrival at Los Angeles club Villa last night in a leopard-inspired stretch limousine.

In a sign her penchant for animal print truly knows no bounds, both the exterior and interior was decked out in the pattern, with truly garish results.

With the paparazzi at hand outside the popular celebrity haunt, she made the most of the opportunity to be photographed as she posed with her husband Stephen Belafonte.

Mel B, who starred in the US series Dancing With The Stars last year, recently revealed she is planning to revive her less than impressive solo career.

Animal magnetism: the former Spice Girl has taken her penchant for leopard print too the extreme

She has teamed up with producers Scott Storch and Damon Elliott for the album which she hopes to release later this year.

She has said: "It's kind of pop because that's what I am, but it's pop with a bit of an edge."

"I'm about six or seven songs deep into it."

She’s previously released two solo albums – Hot in 2000, and LA State of Mind in 2005.
