With four children and two more on the way, Angelina Jolie headed out for extra supplies at Toys R Us in Nice yesterday.

The heavily pregnant actress, who was accompanied by her partner Brad Pitt, piled up her trolley as she made her way trawled through the store after wrapping up her commitments in Cannes.

Angelina and her brood are once again nesting at their latest residence - a grand waterside villa owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen - where they are expected to stay until the arrival of the twins.

Jolie kept up a hectic schedule during the film festival, promoting her new film Changeling, which was directed by Clint Eastwood.

Her performance in the 1920s based film, an intense drama about a missing child, won critical acclaim and is already generating Oscar buzz.

A reviewer at the Los Angeles Times wrote: “Based on this powerful and searing performance, it would be a good bet she will again be in the hunt for the Best Actress nomination that eluded her for A Mighty Heart last year."

She was also busy promoting her animated comedy Kung Fu Panda, which premiered near the beginning of the festival last week.
