Lindsay Lohan and her ‘girlfriend’ Samantha Ronson were caught kissing in Cannes last night.

The two - who have maintained that they are just friends amid rumours that they are a couple - gave into their inhibitions as they cavorted on the top deck of P Diddy’s party yacht.

Diddy’s infamous parties- and boat - are are known to be wild but his night was overshadowed by Lindsay’s and Samantha’s clinching embrace.

The Mean Girls actress looked happy as she intimately conversed with her DJ friend.

The sister of Producer Mark Ronson did not seem to care who was watching their steamy kiss.

Lohan has been linked to a string of men from Colin Farrell to Jude Law.

But it was strange to see that Lindsay - who isn't seeing anyone at the moment - had a ring on her engagement finger.

Their open display of affection could confirm rumours that started last year about their relationship.

It was reported that Samantha, 30 kept in contact Lindsay when she spent a stint in rehab last year.

They apparently kept in touch with explicit messages to each other.

Rumours also emerged that Samantha had moved in with Lindsay to help her stay out of trouble but let's not forget that Ronson was on the clubbing scene with Lohan during her infamous hit and run DUI in May last year.
