Lily Allen stood out like a sore thumb in her sky-blue dungarees as she mingled with city workers in Mayfair this week.

The 23-year-old singer was a noticeable absence at the prestigious Ivor Novello awards on Thursday, but happily joined producer pal Mark Ronson after he attended the bash.

Clearly in a summery mood, Lily bounded out of Mark's car in her chintzy dungarees, eighties-style RayBan sunglasses and shiny and new Nike trainers.

Fresh from her booze-fuelled trip to Cannes, where she was photographed sunbathing and swimming topless, Lily appeared to be resistant to the usual post-holiday blues and looked thrilled to be back in the capital.

Chain-smoking Lily joined fellow nicotine addicts outside The Audley pub in Mayfair, where she happily mingled with suited and booted city workers.

The single singer, who split from Chemical Brothers DJ Ed Simons earlier this year after a brief romance, attracted a string of male admirers eagerly hanging onto her every word.

Despite arriving with Mark, who earlier watched his troubled friend Amy Winehouse arrive late to pick up her Ivor Novello award, the producer appeared to lose Lily shortly after their joint arrival and was spotted in deep conversation with some other friends.

Earlier this week, Lily caused a stir when she performed an impromptu strip in the street near her north London home.

After sharing a pizza with a male friend, Lily changed from a denim mini-skirt into a pair of combat trousers in front of the delighted paparazzi.

Last week, Lily checked into the upmarket Hotel Du Cap with male friends and father Keith Allen, who was promoting his documentary Dark Forces, about the death of Diana, Princess of Wales.

The Smile star was regularly photographed swimming and sunbathing topless at the Hotel and during her visit on Formula 1 boss Flavio Briatore's yacht.

Lily was a force to be reckoned with on the Cannes party scene and was spotted looking rather worse for wear after attending the post-premiere party for How To Lose Friends And Influence People.

When asked if she was bothered by the paparazzi shots of her naked chest, Lily said: "No, it's my body.

"I heard I was a Page Three girl today."
