Anyone would think that Trinny Woodall wears seven-inch heels from dawn to dusk.

The fashion guru will soon be seen on TV effortlessly strutting about as if such shoes are the most comfortable in the world.

Before the cameras started rolling, however, she had been wearing much more comfortable flat pumps.

Comfort: Trinny switches to a flat pair of ballet pumps when filming is finished

The minute filming ceased, off came the heels and the comfy flats were slipped back on with great relief.

And her co-star Susannah Constantine, who was out of shot at the time, also went for the comfy option with no heels on display.

The scene was filmed in Kensington, West London, for the series The Great British Body, which begins on ITV1 next month.

Perhaps ironically, Trinny and Susannah will be seen encouraging women to be honest about their shape.

The three-part series shows the duo scouring the nation looking for the average body shape and how it has transformed over the decades.

Last month, the pair stripped off along with 300 others to create a naked sculpture "en masse celebration" on the Sussex Downs.

The pair used to present What Not To Wear for the BBC, but defected to ITV after five series and appeared in Trinny and Susannah Undress.
