FOO FIGHTERS

Grohl from the Foo Fighters in concert

WHAT ARE THEY KNOWN FOR?
Being Nirvana Lite. No, that's not fair. Dave Grohl's remarkable achievement has been to move out of the shadow of Nirvana, where he was the band's drummer, to form one of the world's premier rock acts.

WHERE CAN I SEE THEM?
CITY of Manchester Stadium, Monday, June 2, and Wembley Stadium, Friday and Saturday, June 6 and 7.

TIME ON STAGE?
7.45pm.

SET LENGTH?
TWO-and-a-half hours.

WHAT DO YOU GET?

Old fashioned rock 'n' roll. Running up and down the stage is about as gimmicky as it gets. It's no nonsense, high-quality, high adrenaline rock with acoustic spots so you (and the band) can catch your breath.

WHO GOES TO SEE THEM?
Not just head bangers. They bring out the rocker in all ages and types.

HIGHLIGHTS?
Let It Die, Best Of You, Long Road To Ruin, My Hero, Times Like These, The Pretender, All My Life.

WHAT'S THEIR SECRET?
Grohl (pictured) shows that being a nice guy in rock doesn't have to work against you.
