Myleene Klass's weekend is literally a washout after the Somerset festival she was attended was flooded.

The 30-year-old was set to work at the Sunrise Festival in Yeovil, but it has been postponed until next year following flash flooding in the West Country.

Despite being knee-deep in rain, the TV/radio presenter look amused by the mud pool which had swamped the festival grounds.

Following flash flooding on Thursday night, festival organisers were forced to cancel the event altogether.

Among the acts scheduled to perform were Orbital, The Beat and The Dub Pistols.

Posing in a mud bath, Myleene's location was in stark contrast to the glamorous French Riviera where she was just a week ago.

The singer brought her eight-month-old daughter Ava to the Cannes Film Festival, where she was presenting for a TV show.

Thursday's heavy rain marked the region's second flooding in just 18 months.

People were forced to abandoned their homes and vehicles as the deluge flooded the area.
