The ex Spice girl partied at the Crystal night club in Soho to celebrate her groups Best Band Award.

But only a few hours later she had dusted herself down and was dressed up and ready to launch of Ultimo's new lingerie line in London.

The Leeds-born star was practically bursting forth from her tight pinstripe dress, which she accessorised with a white push-up bra which struggled to contain her ample chest.

Despite dropping pounds while on tour with Spices, the ultra-slim celeb's chest appears to have gained in size, and could give former glamour model Jordan a run for her money.

Mel was a sight for sore eyes, as the former Spice Girl made a rare appearance in London at department store Debenhams this morning.

The singer, who now lives in Los Angeles, was unleashed as the new face of Ultimo lingerie last month, and showcased her toned figure in the company's lingerie line.

Mel who celebrates her 33rd birthday today was given a chocolate cake to mark the occasion.

Although judging from her tiny physique, she'll probably pass on actually eating any of it.

The singer follows in the footsteps of supermodels Helena Christensen, Rachel Hunter and Penny Lancaster but thanks to the Spice Girls' gruelling reunion tour Mel looks as stunning as her catwalk-strutting predecessors.

And judging by the number of people who turned out to see her on the next stop of her promotional tour, in Liverpool, she still has plenty of fans.

Last night Mel joined fellow Spice Girls Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell as the group were named band of the year at the Glamour Women of the Year awards.

Supermodel Kate Moss was entrepreneur of the year and Joanna Page, star of Bafta award-winning Gavin and Stacey won comedy actress of the year.

Singer Lily Allen won the editor's special award, while Kelly Osbourne, who made her West End debut in Chicago, was named theatre actress of the year at the glitzy award ceremony in central London.
