She's a poster-girl for gorgeous curves, but Catherine Zeta-Jones appears to be in danger of losing her bombshell status.

The Hollywood star cut a surprisingly lean figure while on set of her new film The Rebound in New York yesterday.

Her black leggings and form-hugging tee revealed her shrinking frame as she took a break between takes of her romantic comedy.

Vanishing act: There was no sign of Catherine Zeta-Jones' trademark curves as  she took a break from film The Rebound in New York yesterday

The actress' weight is known to have has fluctuated over the years.

Catherine, who is married to Michael Douglas, has told how she 'ate for Wales' when pregnant with her first child, Dylan, now seven.

At her heaviest she weighed 13 stone. After the birth of her daughter Carys five years ago, she used a tough dance-based routine from her movie Chicago to whittle herself into shape.

Slim pickings: CZJ may have lost some of her curves, but she still attracted admiring glances

The 38-year-old has often hit out at Hollywood's obsession with "super skinny women," and has previously claimed to detest dieting, insisting that she only eats when hungry.

Although Catherine is not known to be an exercise fanatic, she is a regular gym goer and an avid golfer.

Talking about the Hollywood obsession with weight, the former West End dancer has said: 'My muscles have memory from the time I danced, and it's quick for me to get back in shape, but I'm not fanatical.'

Following The Rebound, Catherine has three more new roles lined up, starring in Law Abiding Citizen, Racing the Monsoon and Stompanato.
