Nicole Kidman looks blooming lovely as she visits the doctors for a pre-natal check up with devoted husband Keith Urban.

The pregnant actress and her country singer husband put on a public display of affection outside a Nashville, Tennessee clinic as they get an update on the development of their unborn child.

The Oscar winning actress, who turns 40 this month and celebrates her second wedding anniversary to Urban on June 25th, is expecting her first biological child in July.

Wearing a yellow summer dress and denim jacket, Kidman's modest bump was difficult to see, despite being in her final trimester.

An onlooker said: 'The expectant mother arrived with a blonde assistant and spent an hour inside the facility before Urban arrived to join her.

'The two had a romantic embrace when they were reunited and Urban even held his wife’s handbag as he kissed her and placed his hand on the small of her back.'

Kidman, who has two adopted children Isabella and Connor with ex-husband Tom Cruise, has been taking time out of her film career as she awaits the birth.

The eight-months pregnant actress has spent the last week pampering herself and going to pre-natal yoga classes as she relaxes in her new adopted hometown of Nashville.

New Zealand-born Urban performed in the city's CMA Festival on Friday night.

Meanwhile, the actress has put her £12million Sydney apartment up for sale as she seeks a larger home with garden for her future offspring.
