TV presenter Chris Tarrant looked to have put his bitter divorce battle behind him as he lounged in the sun with his new blonde lover.

Despite being forced to pay his ex-wife Ingrid £20million, the dent in his finances didn’t dampen his mood as he relaxed with legal assistant Jane Bird.

The clearly-smitten Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host, 61, couldn’t keep his hands off his 45-year-old new flame on their Spanish holiday.

And he didn’t seem to mind who saw him rubbing sun tan lotion all over her slender figure as she lounged in a bikini.

The affectionate couple were introduced last year when the mother-of-two was in the audience of his popular ITV quiz show.

A fellow sunseeker told the Sunday Express: “They were acting like loved-up teenagers. They were all over each other.

“Chris tried to read his book as they relaxed in the sunshine, but he kept on getting distracted by Jane who was lying next to him.

“They were kissing and canoodling in full view of everyone.

“They seemed to want everyone to know how in love they were – although Chris did doze off at one point.

“He is obviously very comfortable with Jane and definitely seems to be eating well as despite trying to cover up with a T-shirt it was obvious he’s put a few inches around the middle.”

Chris clearly struggled with the pace of his new love life and at one point had to break for a nap on a sun lounger.

Chris and Ingrid, 53, his second wife, broke up in September 2006 following a 20-year marriage after it was revealed he had been carrying on a 10-year affair with 50-year-old primary school deputy head Fiona McKechnie.

The divorce was finalized in April after 18 months of bitter feuding.
