Eugenie: 'Dancing around without any clothes'

Princess Eugenie has been reprimanded by her public school after she was involved in 'high jinks' towards the end of her school term.

The 18-year-old A-level student, who attends Marlborough College, Wiltshire, was caught frolicking naked in the grounds, it was claimed.

The Princess is the Duke of York's youngest daughter and up until now has been overshadowed by her elder sister Princess Beatrice, 19, who is frequently pictured nightclubbing or on foreign holidays.

A royal source told PA: 'It was nothing more than high jinks at the end of term in May. A group of them were reprimanded and that's the end of the matter.'

The Sun newspaper reported that a senior staff member was woken by playful shrieks and found about a dozen young women dancing around without any clothes in the college's grounds.

It said there was no suggestion boys were present or that drugs were involved, but claimed that a pupil said the incident came after the students had been drinking.

The young royal is sixth in line to the throne and is sitting exams in art, history of art and English at the £23,000-a-year college.

Her last formal engagement saw the Princess give a reading at the wedding of her cousin Peter Phillips - the Queen's eldest grandson - to Canadian Autumn Kelly in May.

She is likely to be among the guests who will gather on the balcony of Buckingham Palace after today's Trooping the Colour ceremony, which marks the Queen's official birthday.

Eugenie will also be attending Ascot next week for the first time with her sister, and is expected to return to Marlborough a few days later.

A spokesman for the Princess made no comment about the claims.

So is she going to be like her sister (another hard up student not) doing a gap year causing mayhem around the world courtesy of the tax payers' money and showing to the rest of the world just how low you can go?
