Mischa Barton's short skirt reveals how she's losing her battle with cellulite

She claims recent pictures showing her with cellulite were doctored, but it seems once again Mischa Barton has been photographed with the much-dreaded condition.
Wearing a tight black mini skirt, the 22-year-old actress revealed her dimpled thighs while out with friends in New York.
Despite her model looks, Barton has yet to conquer the condition which affects millions of women.

Barton recently claimed paparazzi photos showing her legs dimpled with cellulite while sunbathing topless last month were retouched.
"Those photos are doctored," the actress's spokesperson Lisa Perkins said.
"I'm not saying she's perfect, nobody is. But they've given a 22-year-old woman the legs and bottom of an 80-year-old.
"There's a lot you can do with photoshopping," she added.

However in an age where most Hollywood actresses are a size zero, Barton remains unfazed by the fuss caused by her curves.
"My boyfriend (rocker Taylor Locke) loves them. So whatever works!" said Barton.
"I eat really healthy, I work out.
"Everybody has things that they are conscious of that they don’t like, but any girl — I talk about this with my girlfriends all the time.
"We work out and we eat healthy and we do what we do, I feel very comfortable. I come from a European family that’s always very comfortable with their bodies.
"You are what you are as a woman."

She also said "every woman has cellulite."
"I just feel like the photographers try to get the most unflattering shots. They know they are worth more money. ...
"I’ve never claimed to have a perfect body, but it is what it is. I have a woman’s body. I have hips and boobs so it goes straight there, which I don’t mind because it gives me curves."

Do we live in such an airbrushed, media and celeb obsessed society that we forget people have flaws in real life? Good on her for not 'covering herself up' or denying that she's anything but a real person. To be honest, it's a relief to see that no-one is perfect. In this highly-glossed age, so many women (and men probably too) feel completely inadequate because of the perfect reproductions that are so rife and in just about everyone's faces whether they follow celebs or not. We're losing a grip on reality and making ourselves ill to live up to an ideal that doesn't exist. She may have a bit of cellulite, does it make her less attractive? Not in my opinion.
