Socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson proved she is still a party girl when she got tipsy at a charity bash last night.

The 36-year-old reportedly spilt a drink over a group of people, decorated her hair with forks and spoons and slurred her way through a speech on stage at a boat party on the Thames hosted by Capital Radio.

Tara arrived at the Help A London Child’s Dinner On The River, with her friend DJ Duncan James, formerly of boy band Blue.

A source on board said: 'She got stuck into the free champagne, and before long was sitting on top of the bar as she got more and more drunk.

'She then jumped over the bar, grabbed a woman’s drink, threw it over her shoulder and said: 'I’ll make you a proper drink’.

'During dinner she adorned her hair with forks and spoons.

'A charity auction was held after dinner, and Tara stood on her chair and banged on the ceiling to make sure her bids were heard.

'When she wasn’t standing up, she was sitting on the knee of and getting more than a little flirty with Capital DJ Greg Burns.

'One of the auction prizes was a trip on the London Eye with her - but that didn’t stop her bidding for that too.'

She must have been feeling drunk because she bid £1,000 to meet Deal or No Deal  presenter Noel Edmonds.

The former I'm A Celebrity contestant later gave the prize away.

The source added: 'Later, she was flashing her knickers in the ladies’ toilets to show everyone how they matched her red dress.

'She then took a tumble and spilled a full glass of champagne over herself and several others. She was totally blotto.'

The generous It girl pledged £5,000 to the Shooting Star Hospice, and gave an impassioned, if slightly slurred speech, before being helped off  the stage by her pal Duncan.
