The husband of TV star Kerry Katona was spotted getting close to a mystery brunette while his wife flew to America to attend the funeral of her beloved stepfather.

Mark Croft, 37, enjoyed a wild night at Movida nightclub in London's West End last week and was pictured exiting the venue with a woman draped across him.

A guest at the club told Closer magazine that the cab driver - father to one-year-old Heidi and three-month-old Max, two of Katona's four children - was being being very 'sleazy' and 'flirtatious' with several women inside.

'Mark came over to me and said that I had a nice bum, He was being really sleazy and flirtatious.'

Croft's spokesman Max Clifford denied that he was behaving inappropriately:

'The girl pictured with Mark approached him outside Movida as he was leaving the club with his friend Andy.

'He had not met this girl before and had not been inside the club with her. Mark then got in the taxi and left with his friend Andy.'
 
The incriminating photographs will come as another blow to Katona, 27, who was devastated by the death of 78-year-old Arnold Ferrier.

"To me he was my real dad, a lovely man who I love and will really miss," She said recently.

Ferrier was briefly married to the star's mum Susan during her childhood.

A source tells the magazine that her husband has been far from sympathetic about her loss:

'Mark didn't understand why Kerry had to go so far for the funeral of someone she hadn't seen for ages.'

'But Kerry was genuinely beside herself over Arnold's death and felt terrible she never got to say goodbye in person before he passed away.'

Croft recently denied rumours that he visited Samantha Riaz - the woman he allegedly bedded in July last year - on the same weekend.

His spokesman said: 'Mark at no point visited Samantha Riaz. He has never even met or spoken to this woman.'

'Kerry keeps finding suspicious text messages on his mobile and now he carries his  phone around with him wherever he goes,' the source added.

Katona has two other Molly, 6, and Lily Sue, 5, with ex-husband Brian McFadden.

Croft also has a daughter, Keeley, from a previous relationship.
