Red hot Rumer Willis is a dead ringer for Demi

Updated 16:07pm on 24 Jun 2008

Demi Moore's lookalike daughter Rumer Willis proved herself more than capable on the red carpet last night as she stole the limelight from A-list stars including Cameron Diaz and Salma Hayek.

The aspiring actress, who was wearing a silk scarlet prom dress, was the spitting image of her mother at the Women In Film 2008 Crystal Lucy Awards gala.

Posing for the cameras with a confidence that would make her superstar parents Demi and Bruce Willis proud, the teenager looked glamorous and sophisticated beyond her years.

The 19-year-old is hoping to follow in her parents' footsteps with a big screen career, and is currently on a break from shooting the teen comedy Wild Cherry.

Rumer recently denied rumours she is relying on nepotism to take her to the top.

She said: 'I think when people meet me they're shocked, because the idea of celebrity children is that they're trust-fund babies that don't have any desire to work and they're just going to ride their parents' train.

'And in some cases that stereotype has proved right. I would hope that after people meet me, they would give me the benefit of the doubt.

'They're kind of like, "Wow, you're really much more chilled and down-to-earth than I thought you would be."'

Also at the Beverly Hilton event were Jada Pinkett Smith, Eva Mendes, Meg Ryan, Annette Bening, Ginnifer Goodwin - who received MaxMara's Face of the Future Award - and her partner Chris Klein, Nicole Richie, Debra Messing and Maria Bello.

I agree with you completely Louie. Rumor looks more like her dad.

I really don't see how you can say they look alike. Demi has a square face whilst Rumer's face is long. Demi has large eyes where Rumer's are quite narrow; the nose and mouth are also totally different in shape. The only thing they have in common is their hair cuts.
