Sienna Miller is going to have a hard job ever healing the rift between her and the Primrose Hill set now that she's dumped Welshman Rhys Ifans.

Long-term enemy Kate Moss reportedly warned her last year: 'If you hurt Rhys, you'll have made an enemy for life.'

And it looks as though Kate, 34, is staying true to her word.

We can reveal that Kate is fuming after Rhys, 39, was left distraught from his split with Sienna.

So much so that she has told pals to ostracise the 26-year-old actress from their notorious Primrose Hill set  -  which also includes Davinia Taylor and Sadie Frost.

Despite the fact that Kate and Davinia (and now Rhys) live in the same street in St John's Wood, the group is still known by their Primrose Hill monicker.

The group have been rallying around Rhys since the split and he was pictured leaving a North London pub looking worse-for-wear with actress Davinia yesterday.

The Welsh star had reportedly spent the afternoon drowning his sorrows and lashed out angrily at photographers as the pair made their way down the street.

We're told: 'Kate was sure this would happen, which is why she has found it hard to be close friends with Sienna.

'She is incredibly protective over all of her friends, which is why she has taken such a stand.

'She has told her Primrose Hill clan to erase Sienna's number from their phones, not to invite her out to their exclusive parties and to re-direct her emails to junk.

'Normally Kate wouldn't be that bothered but she has been friends with Rhys for ages and she knows that he is taking this split really hard.'

Sienna, best known for her high-profile relationship with actor Jude Law, has blamed the break-up with Rhys on their long-distance relationship.

And though this may be true, speculation over Sienna reigniting her relationship with Matthew Rhys hit fever pitch last night when the pair were seen arm in arm at the premiere of their new film The Edge Of Love in Edinburgh.

The edge of love indeed.
