Pixie Geldof took inspiration from her mother Paula Yates heyday, back in the 80s, for her latest headline grabbing look.

The schoolgirl about town stepped out in a punky looking combination of union jack mini dress and blue Dr. Marten style high heeled 'bovver' boots to attend the screening of new Sienna Miller film, The Edge of Love in London's Mayfair.

The 17-year-old was seen alongside older sister Peaches, who dressed in a satin ruffled minidress, tights and shoe-boots.

But compared to Pixie who seems to enjoy her moment in the limelight,  she looked decidedly camera-shy as she walked with her head down last night.

Budding style icon Pixie who recently graced the cover of Tatler magazine over 20 years after her mother Paula has embarked on a new career as a model.

Like her sister who last year modelled for trendy fashion label PPQ, the schoolgirl has been scouted by Select model agency to front a few campaigns next year.

A friend said: "Pixie has an amazing face and is appealing to all types of people."

Later the teenage party-girls headed for regular haunt Bungalow 8 nightclub at the St Martins Lane hotel.
