He is a living legend in Hollywood and his face is synonymous with some of the greatest films it has produced in the past 50 years.
But even veteran actor James Caan can't turn up to an event with a tissue stuck to his face and get away with it.
Strolling into the Cinevegas Film Festival Half-Life Awards - at which he was one of the celebrated actors - the 68-year-old arrived on the red carpet with the offending item on his forehead.

Smartly dressed in a white suit, shirt and tie it is unlikely the hankie was an avant-garde accessory but perhaps got stuck up there as a result of the 108F heat.
Whatever the reason, no-one can accuse The Godfather star of not being able to make an entrance.
The ceremony also honoured other heavyweight stars such as Anjelica Houston, Don Cheadle and Robert Duvall.
But Caan's misplaced hankie made sure that when it came to attention, he was number one.
