As far as WAGS go, she's well known for her love of shopping and that's quite an achievement.

However Alex Curran has surpassed herself on her latest trip to the shops which boasted the dubious honour of needing the help of three Debenhams' shop assistants to load her car.

Fortunately they didn't have too far to travel with the heavy bags as the vehicle was parked right outside the department store in Liverpool - despite the presence of a yellow line.

Perhaps the city turns a blind eye to these matters when the WAGS go out shopping - after all the local economy must rely on these big boosts.

Alex, 25, ditched the maxi dresses she has been wearing recently and opted for more practical attire of white trousers and vest top covered by a black sleeveless number.

The only obvious giveaway to her fashion credentials (she has a style column in the Mirror) was the 4-inch silver wedges she sported on her feet.

The mother-of-two recently celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary to football player Steven Gerrard with a holiday in Miami.

The couple have two daughters, Lilly-Ella, four, and Lexie, 22 months.
