Actress Sienna Miller has been seen out and about with Balthazar Getty, sparking rumours of a relationship

Sienna Miller has been romantically linked with a married American actor who is heir to the Getty oil fortune.

The actress's growing closeness to Balthazar Getty, a 33-year-old father of four, came to light this week after the pair were spotted meeting in secret around Hollywood.

Revelations of her involvement with the TV and film star come just weeks after she dumped actor Rhys Ifans.

Miss Miller, 26, and Getty, a multi-millionaire and former heroin addict, have spent days and nights together, it is claimed.

His wife Rosetta is understood to have flown to Italy with their children after the revelations.

Getty previously dated actresses Drew Barrymore and Milla Jovovich.

Miss Miller's ex-boyfriend Matthew Rhys, who co-stars with Getty in U.S. TV drama Brothers and Sisters, introduced the pair last summer.

She flew to Los Angeles last Monday after her nine-month relationship with 39-year-old Notting Hill star Ifans ended. Miss Miller, previously engaged to Jude Law, was then seen at a petrol station with Getty on Tuesday.

On Thursday it is said they met for dinner at an Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills. The day after they were seen at the Chateau Marmont Hotel, the place where they first met in LA.

Getty married clothes designer Rosetta Millington in 2000. Their children are Cassius, seven, Grace, six, Violet, five, and eight-month old June Catherine.

The actor's great-grandfather was the late Jean Paul Getty, founder of the Getty Oil Company. His father is John Paul Getty III.

Of course, Miss Miller will forever be remembered as the woman who had an affair with Jude Law, a married father of three, causing his relationship with Sadie Frost to end.

The parallel will concern Mr Getty's wife greatly.
