The 50-year-old, who is famed for her raunchy film roles, was clearly not shy to reveal her charms as she was seen arm in arm with a young beau on her way to a restaurant in Hollywood.

She displayed a plunging neckline in a little black dress, worn with long bronze beads and fashionable gladiator sandals.

The date has caused speculation the mother-of-three may have found romance again.

Sharon, who celebrated her 50th birthday in March, has been single since splitting from San Francisco Chronicle editor Phil Bronstein in 2004.

The film star is mother to adopted sons Roan Joseph, eight, Laird Vonne, three, and Quinn Kelly, two.

Sharon recently courted controversy when she was dropped as the face of Christian Dior, after saying that the Chinese earthquake may be due to 'bad karma', because of its treatment of Tibet.

She apologised for the comments, which caused considerable anger in China and led to her films being banned.

The actress will soon be returning to the big screen in the action drama Streets Of Blood about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
