It looks as though Colin Farrell may have found true love at last.

The actor is said to be smitten with new girlfriend Emma Forrest and the pair were pictured together for the first time in Hollywood yesterday.

A very skinny Farrell, who lost weight for his role as wartime photographer in the upcoming film Triage, appeared happy and relaxed as he took Emma on a movie date.

Farrell,32,  has been seeing the English novelist for the last six months and is said to be so smitten that he has swapped partying on the towns for cosy evenings in with her.

A source told The Sun: "Colin is a changed man. He has knocked the drinking on the head and is enjoying life in a completely different way.

'They have spent months trying to keep the relationship secret because they are falling madly in love. In the past, Colin has gone for stereotypical movie star girlfriends but Emma has offered him something completely different.'

It has also been suggested the couple are planning to move in together in Los Angeles in the near future.

Earlier this month, it was reported Colin had married Irish student Muireann McDonnell after the actor was seen sporting a band on the ring finger of his left hand.
