Amy Winehouse has admitted to taking heroine while being treated for drug abuse  in rehab

Rehab singer Amy Winehouse has been put under 24-hour supervision after she  confessed to taking drugs while in rehab.

In a dramatic interview, she admitted that she took heroin while undergoing treatment for her drug abuse.

The troubled singer - who was recently diagnosed with emphysema after she collapsed - told Rolling Stone Magazine of her wild ways.

She said: 'I've never been to rehab - I mean, done it properly. I'm young, and I'm in love, and I get my nuts off sometimes.

'To be honest, my husband's away, I'm bored, I'm young. I felt like there was nothing to live for. It's just been a low ebb.'

Amy's label has now insisted on 24-hour watch over her in order to help the singer get her life back in order.

But after so many attempts to put Amy into rehab this could be another attempt in vain.

There is now surveillance outside of her home and a security guard standing at the door.

Anyone who wishes to enter the house in Camden, north London needs approval.

But it appears the the singer is not too pleased about the decision to lock her in her home as she was seen running from her house today to jump into a friend's car on Tuesday night.

After her shocking collapse last month, Winehouse insisted that she was on the mend and was checked out of hospital.

She performed at the 90th birthday concert for Nelson Mandela where she sang a rendition of the famous song Fee Nelson Mandela, but later changed the lyrics to say 'Free Blaky my fella.'

I'm really board of seeing Amy in the news now. She's very talented but clearly not very bright or doesn't want the help and support that we are all trying to give her.

Amy, you are an idiot.

- Elle, UK

Does this really surprise anyone?

The sooner she sorts herself out the better - for her and her fans.

Personally I couldn't give a damn what she does, as am bored with seeing the skinny wreck in the media!
