Three new housemates entered the Big Brother house last night after producers wanted an injection of glamour.

The house had been rife with speculation about possible new arrivals, and now not one, not two, but three have walked into Britain's most famous house.

The new threesome are:

Sara, 27, from London  but originally Australia, and is an executive PA:

Currently working for MTV, Sara won an award there for being the loudest person in the office and admits to being the kind of person who will chat to everyone.

Sara moved from her homeland Australia to London five years ago on a whim. Sara will be the first Australian to enter the UK Big Brother house, and she feels that Big Brother needs an Aussie to mix up the 'reserved and shy Brits'.

Sara claims she is a big flirt but hasn't been in love or even had a significant relationship. She says big muscles do nothing for her, and she tends to go for guys that have the 'muso' band member look about them.

Belinda, 44, from Exeter, a theatre director:

Belinda was raised in East Africa and has a BA in Jazz Voice and Vocal Performance. She can play the clarinet and piano to grade 6.

A theatre director, Belinda set up her own company called Surreal Salon, which is  an ongoing art project. Belinda has previously won an award to perform  at Glastonbury as part of a theatre company and has also appeared naked on stage.

Politically, Belinda doesn't have any strong allegiances to any one party, but when it comes to general elections she votes Green as 'we need to save this world'.

She says she's not one to shy away from a debate especially if it is something she believes in. Her epitaph would read 'Anything is Possible' and says, "life is a ball, each minute, each breath is precious."

Belinda has two children, whom she has home-schooled, and is married.

Maysoon, 28, from Hertfordshire is a model

As well as a working as a model, Maysoon is also a beautician. She has been modelling successfully for the past eight years, despite being  under the standard model height of 5ft10.

Proud of her career achievements, Maysoon has also appeared in numerous music videos, including Sean Paul and Simon Webbe.

Maysoon is keen to prove that not all models are stuck-up and self-centred - she says she has "old fashioned values".

Maysoon says, "I think more people should try being nice, have respect, and treat others how they want to be treated".

Living between her mum and dad's, her sister's and the place she had with her ex, Maysoon would like a place of her own. Maysoon speaks fluent Arabic and is a Muslim.

The housemates were dropped in by producers in a surprise twist to heat-up things in the house on eviction night.

But one thing's for sure - they're going to make waves in the house.

Referring to the younger two of the three, a show insider said: 'We've really pushed the boat out with these two - they are absolute babes.

'There's nothing tacky about them. They're the best-looking girls we've ever had on.'
