Is this petite 22-year-old Australian the woman who will finally tame Russell Brand?

Updated 20:57pm on 4 Jul 2008

His insatiable sexual appetite has been well documented and he has been linked to a string of famous females, including Kate Moss, Abi Titmuss and Courtney Love.

But it appears lothario Russell Brand may have finally been tamed, by his latest co-star Teresa Palmer.

The TV/radio presenter, 33, went public with the Australian actress on the red carpet at the O2 Silver Clef Awards in London earlier today.

Getting serious: Russell Brand goes public with new love Teresa Palmer at the Silver Clef Awards in London this afternoon

The couple opted for complementary black outfits for their first official outing as a couple at the star-studded event at the Park Lane Hilton Hotel in Mayfair.

While Brand wore his signature staple skinny jeans, T-shirt and beat-up leather jacket, his pretty 22-year-old lover opted for a wet-look black mini dress and high heels.

Brand met Palmer on the set of his upcoming film Bedtime Stories, which hits cinema screens in December.
