No doubt Gwen's NOT the world's biggest tennis fan as she glumly watches pal Federer in Wimbledon final

Perhaps the match went on too long or maybe she doesn't really like tennis.

But pop star Gwen Stefani must have been the only spectator left unmoved by the epic Wimbledon final that unfolded before her on Centre Court.

Miss Stefani, who is eight months pregnant, was unphased by the gladiatorial contest between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal which went on for nearly five hours last night.

Heavily pregnant Gwen Stefani looked less than amused during Sunday's marathon Wimbledon final

Despite being defending champion Federer's guest and sitting just two seats away from his girlfriend Mirka Vavrinec she looked bored throughout the match.

The final has already been dubbed by commentators as one of the greatest tennis matches in the tournament's history - to rival the 1980 contest between John McEnroe and Bjorn Borg 28 years ago.

The 38 year-old watched passively as her husband Gavin Rossdale got behind his friend jumping to his feet each time Swiss Federer broke serve and commiserating with every lost point.

Immune to the tension his heavily pregnant wife - looking every inch the rock star in a leather biker jacket and strapless maxidress - was more interested in polishing her oversized sunglasses than providing a standing ovation.

It seemed as though her baby bump made sitting still on the Wimbledon seating uncomfortable and she stretched on several occasions.

The star sat through a lengthy tennis match, looking a little bored at times

The tense final didn't finish until 9.30pm with 21 year-old Spaniard Nadal beating five times champion Federer, 26, in five sets.

The No Doubt singer and her husband have been firm friends with the Swiss tennis ace for more than two years.

Last week, Federer accompanied the couple and their son Kingston, two,  to London Zoo while enjoying a day off following his early win against Dominik Hrbaty.

Miss Stefani is expected to remain in London until she gives birth.

Gavin Rossdale has admitted his American wife has had a difficult second pregnancy.

He said: 'It was difficult at first.Gwen really wasn't well.

'It was tough for her. She was really tired and suffering. I'm just trying to be right there for her. It's not easy to be pregnant.'

He also added that Miss Stefani felt the need to get her pre-pregnancy figure back as quickly as possible.

He said: 'She does feel pressure to lose the weigh quickly. It's very hard because everyone is so judged.'

He added: 'I mean, isn't it enough that nature distorts your body and stretches and squashes your organs?

'But she's blossoming now and she's in a great space.'

I have to agree with Louise, Gavin was sat on the edge of his seat and was pumping his arm with every point Federer scored but Gwen looked bored senseless, although I would imagine that those chairs aren't the most comfortable to sit in for 5 hours when heavily pregnant.
All in all though the better player won.

I watched this yesterday and remember thinking how bored Stefani looked and how rude she was not to try and hide it, heavily pregnant or not.
