As her boyfriend's an athlete it's no surprise Kate Hudson is trying to impress him with her sporting skills.

And it seems like the plan is working, as Lance Armstrong definitely looked happy with his girlfriend on the tennis courts yesterday.

Larking around with a constant smile on her face the 29-year-old put her all into their tennis lesson in Palisades, California.

Flirty: The star joked around throughout their match but kept to her side of the net

Wearing a Nike vest and three-quarter length jogging bottoms, the mum-of-one still managed to have a bit of celebrity glamour by keeping her oversized sunglasses on throughout their match.

However, unlike their last 'tennis date' in June, there were no kisses for Lance in between serves this time.

Focused on winning, Kate kept to her side of the net for the whole game.

The Almost Famous actress has been dating the seven-times winner of the Tour de France since May.

Prior to this, the 29-year-old was in a relationship with his friend, actor Owen Wilson.

But considering her smiles on and off the court since meeting Lance, it seems once-married Kate has finally found her love match.
