Sophie Ellis Bextor's child Sonny may be a mummy's boy, but you wouldn't be able to guess who his famous mother is by looking at him.

The four-year-old is the spitting image of his father Richard Jones, bassist for The Feeling, but appears to have no family resemblance to his own mother.

Sonny appears to have inherited his rocker dad's curly red hair, dark eyes and skin tone and none of his mum's striking looks.

Domestic bliss: Sophie Ellis Bextor and husband Richard Jones of The Feeling

The pop star, 29, brought Sonny to the British premiere of new Disney Pixar animation Wall-E in London's Leicester Square.

Wall-E centres on a rubbish-collecting robot left on Earth alone after all the humans have fled, who falls in love with a visiting robot and follows her on an adventure in space.

Ellis Bextor, dressed in a colourful stripy dress and black ballet pumps, left husband Jones at home for the premiere.

Last week, the singer was hard at work filming the new advertisements for Rimmel
London cosmetics.

Robot talk: Britain's Got Talent winner George Sampson cosies up to Wall-E on the blue carpet

Ellis Bextor and Lily Cole will join Rimmel stalwart Kate Moss as the new faces of the make-up range.

Joining Ellis Bextor on the blue carpet was one of the film's stars Sigourney Weaver, who voices the ship's computer, GMTV presenter Jenni Falconer and Waterloo Road actress Angela Griffin and her daughter Tallulah Jae.

Garnering the most attention at the premiere was Britain's Got Talent winner Geroge Sampson, who turned up in his signature baseball cap.

The 15-year-old street dancer from Warrington, who won the £100,000 prize of the ITV talent show in May, posed alongside a lifesize replica of the film's star, Wall-E himself, much to the delight of the hundreds of screaming young fans in Leicester Square.
