Let's stick together: Bryan Ferry reignites romance with the ex-lover young enough to be his grandaughter

Updated 17:14pm on 14 Jul 2008

Five months after their shock split, it looks like Bryan Ferry and Katie Turner are giving their relationship another try.

The former lovers, who split in February after six years together, were inseparable at the Goodwood Festival of Speed at Goodwood House in West Sussex yesterday.

This is the second time the couple have been spotted together in the past week - they were photographed at a Topshop party in London nightclub Tramp last Wednesday night.

On Sunday, a suave-looking Ferry dressed in jeans and blue jacket happily chatted away with Turner, who went for the country look in a checked dress and riding boots.

They joined Chris Evans, Billy Connolly, Lewis Hamilton and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger at the star-studded event.

The couple were reported to have split in February over their disagreement over whether to start a family.

At 62, Ferry is already father to four grown-up children with his ex-wife Lucy Helmore, whom he divorced in 2002.

Ferry started dating the then 21-year-old Turner in 2001 when she was a dancer on his tour.

The couple split once before in 2003, when Katie was photographed lugging boxes out of their flat in Kensington, West London. They got back together shortly afterwards.

The singer has said of their age gap: 'It doesn't seem weird to me at all. I know lots of people of different ages. I don't just hang out with people who are 60.'

Just last week, Ferry prompted reports he was dating model Lily Cole after the pair were photographed leaving jazz club Ronnie Scott's in London.
