Loose woman Carol McGiffin shocks viewers by performing striptease live on air

Once again the presenting team on ITV's daytime TV show Loose Women have been living up to their name.
Just months after she hitched up her skirt and exposed a lacy thong at an awards ceremony, Carol McGiffin was at it again.
The former wife of Chris Evans went one better and performed a striptease for millions of shocked lunchtime viewers of the show.
Flashdance: Carol McGiffin performed a striptease behind a white screen to show her silhouetted profile live on Loose Women today
She proudly exclaimed that as it was National Nudist Day, she would be taking all her clothes off on the programme.
After she was egged on by her co-presenters, McGiffin desperately yelled: 'Do you dare me? Do you dare me?', before she said 'Cue the music'.
As co-host Lynda Bellingham started the audience chanting 'Off! Off! Off!' she sloped behind a white screen to show her silhouetted profile.
Loose woman: Carol McGiffin stripped off all of her clothes live on this afternoon's show, to mark National Nudist day
The TV host then began to strip, striking a series of sexy poses, before waving her bra and knickers in the air having shed her entire outfit.
The mood was somewhat lost during her striptease when she appeared to fall over after being unable to remove one item of clothing.
It had also taken a while to get going given that she had to get one of her co-presenters to help remove her microphone.
Captive audience: Carol's co-presenters Jackie Brambles (far left), Coleen Nolan and Lynda Bellingham (right) look on in horror
When the toe-curling antics finally finished she poked her head around the screen clearly proud of her desperate performance.
Repeat offender: McGiffin flashed her underwear at photographers at an awards ceremony in March
The show then cut to a commercial break, as viewers were left wondering exactly what the point of the striptease was.
The presenter had told the audience: 'It is National Nudist Day isn't it and I have just come back from my holiday, so I am quite brown, put on a few pounds, I don't look that bad though. Shall I take my clothes off?'
The general tackiness of the scene comes after she and co-presenters had come under fire for their exhibitionist antics at an awards ceremony in March.
McGiffin had flashed her underwear at photographers, as did fellow presenter Denise Welch, while Coleen Nolan raised eyebrows with her low-cut dress.
Then last month American comedienne Joan Rivers had to be removed after she described the actor Russell Crowe as a 'piece of f****** s***' live on air.
As her fellow panellists giggled nervously, an unabashed Miss Rivers explained she thought her expletives would be 'bleeped out'.
Instead, ITV executives bleeped out Miss Rivers herself, hauling her off the show.
The 75-year-old performer later claimed she was 'thrilled' to have been removed during a commercial break.
She said: 'They whipped me off. It's the first time in 40 years,' she said. '
I'm thrilled - everyone keeps saying to me, "What more is there in your career? You've got every award there is".

I must admit I love Carol, you have to laugh at some of her comments & when they sound silly or unreasonable at the time, if you think about it a momemt later she does SOME of the time make sence. Who are we to judge her ? if Carol takes her cloths off , so be it, even if its lunch-time, she did warn us she was going to do it, so there was plenty of time to turn offyour tv " if you wanted to.
