The strain of Anne Hathaway's high-profile break-up from her long-term boyfriend Raffaello Follieri is starting to take its toll.

The Devil Wears Prada star appears to have dropped two stone in less than a month since splitting from the Italian businessman, who has been branded a 'con man' by US federal prosecutors.

The 25-year-old has shrunk from a size ten to six, according to a magazine report, with a source telling the publication: 'It's fair to say that Anne has taken the split really hard.

Anne has thrown herself into work since the split, shooting the romantic comedy Bride Wars with Kate Hudson in New York.

She also embarked on a whirlwind publicity  tour to promote her new comedy Get Smart, which also stars comedian Stevel Carell.

She called an end to her four-year relationship amid mounting scandal linked to Follieri, as exclusively first reported by MailOnline.

He was later arrested on charges of wire-fraud conspiracy and money laundering, and is accused of milking investors of millions.

The 30-year-old, who is currently awaiting trial, faces life if convicted.
