Super skinny Cheryl looks thinner than ever at Girls Aloud racecourse gig

Cheryl Cole shocked fans at a Girls Aloud concert last night when she stepped on stage looking skinnier than ever.

Just weeks after admitting she had body insecurities and 'hated her legs', the singer looked gaunt and bony as she performed at the Sandown Racecourse in Esher, Surrey.

Dressed in a plunging, gold Julien MacDonald mini-dress, Cheryl's protruding collar bone and decreasing cleavage was all too apparent.

Changing into a PVC bodice later on, the 25-year-old's famous curves were looking noticeably absent.

Standing next to curvier Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding, Cheryl's figure looked boyish.

While her bandmates had exposed their legs in the PVC outifts, Cheryl opted for PVC leggings to cover up her legs after recently admitting she didn't like them.

She said: 'I don't like my legs. I haven't got much of them for a start. It's just the thing that I don't like so if I was dressing myself I'd probably cover them up.'

Despite not liking her legs, Cheryl acknowledges she, like most women, suffer from cellulite and isn't bothered when the blemishes are highlighted in the tabloids.

She continued: 'If somebody sees a bit of cellulite on my legs that's been circled in a magazine and it makes them feel comfortable then I'm happy that I've made that one person at home go "Cheryl's got cellulite, it's fine".

'I do it myself. I flick through magazines and see Kate Moss has got cellulite and it makes me feel happier about myself. You can't help it.'

Cheryl admitted her insecurity about her body really kicked in when she joined Girls Aloud in December 2002.

The press criticised the band's weight and all five members dramatically slimmed down after going on a group diet.

Speaking on BBC Three show Alesha: Look But Don't Touch, she recalled: 'When I first started in the band reading all the criticism was really hard.

'At home to be a size eight or ten was normal but I was reading things saying look how much weight she's put on.

'It was hard to take in the beginning but there never has and never will be a perfect person.'

Cheryl has looked skinny for years, but her figure has been looking thinner than ever this year following press allegations her husband Ashley Cole had cheated on her.

Friends of the singer have claimed she has dropped two dress sizes, from a healthy size 10 to a tiny size 6.

Despite Cheryl's increasingly skinny frame, the pop star was named the UK's Favourite Fantasy Body in a poll of 2,000 men and women by YouGov last month.

Cheryl looks fine, the press always try to make celebs look bad but really they just cant!, we have eyes and we all have our own opinion. Although i cant see why people think shes "too thin". Its her figure and it doesn't look unhealthy at all. She looks perfectly fine and healthy to me.

Cheryl is a great role model!!

She's no slimmer than Nadine, people diet to get her figure. So what if she's lost a bit of weight it's not as if she looks unhealthy.

She is just slim. At least you can't see her bones sticking out like some celebs!
