If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery then it’s clear from these pictures Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster’s marriage is cruising along for a summer of love.

Holidaying with the family on the French Riviera, the pair wore matching cowboy hats and aviator sunglasses as they strolled, hand-in-hand, along the harbour in St Tropez.

Penny, 37, looked effortlessly chic as she showed off her famous pins in an ornate kaftan and husband Rod opted for a Ralph Lauren white open-necked shirt and matching shorts.

A quick ice cream stop and it was all aboard the dinghy, where they were joined by Rod’s daughter Kimberley and the couple’s two-year-old son Alastair, to continue their Mediterranean cruise on a multi-million pound yacht.  

The Do You Think I’m Sexy? singer married Penny in Italy last summer and it appears his new wife certainly does.
