Batman star Christian Bale touched down in Japan for the latest stop on the film's promotional tour looking keen to leave his recent troubles behind.
The 34-year-old actor looked weary as he left Britain accompanied by his wife Sibi and three-year-old daughter Emmeline as the family arrived at Narita International Airport after ending their tour of Europe.
The Welsh-born star was arrested and bailed over an assault claim last week, which he has denied.

He was arrested at Belgravia police station, in central London, earlier that day after attending by appointment.
A glum-looking Bale had earlier left Heathrow Airport looking like a man with plenty on his mind.
Sources close to the actor said he 'flew off the handle' at London's Dorchester hotel after his mother Jenny Bale said 'some outrageous things' about his wife Sibi, a former personal assistant to actress Winona Ryder.
In a recent interview, the star admitted that he has been depressed and has experienced bouts of insomnia.
He is also said to have become depressed over the death of close friend and co-star Heath Ledger, who stars as the Joker in the new film.
The 'Dark Knight' is scheduled to open on August 9 in Japan.
