Reality television star Jade Goody is well known for her verbal faux pas.

But it also seems that she isn't entirely sure of the correct way of handling a perfume launch.

As after parading the classy-looking bottle in front of the assembled photographers,  the dozy brunette promptly  dropped the heavy glass bottle on the floor.

The former Big Brother contestant arrived at West End haunt The Embassy Club for the launch party of her new fragrance perfume Controversial.

Looking elegant in a satin and chiffon Little Black Dress, and Christian Louboutin heels, it wasn't long before the calamitous reality television star found herself in another spot of trouble.

As she held a microphone while posing for photographers, it seems she managed to drop the bottle on the floor, narrowly missing her stiletto-heeled feet.

Thankfully, all her recent boot-camp training to shed the pounds has left her fairly fleet of foot, as she was able to avoid a double calamity.

The launch of Jade's new perfume is a sign that the tide has turned for Jade after her first perfume Shh... was axed following the Celebrity Big Brother row.

As well as the fragrance launch, Jade is celebrating a return to television , with reality show Living With Jade Goody set to air on Living TV in mid-October, and she's in talks to do other shows.

Jade has recently started a vigorous workout regime for her Fit Camp, to be shown on her reality TV show.

A source told Now magazine: 'Jade's getting invited to do a lot more PAs in nightclubs nowadays and that hasn't happened for ages.

'She has a real laugh doing them and sees it as a good sign. She's going to be doing panto as well.'

Jade split from ex-boyfriend Jack Tweed in March. Last week the 21-year-old was convicted of assault after attacking a 16-year-old boy with a golf club in December 2006.
