Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts looked even paler than normal as she hit the town with her bandmates for a birthday party.

The naturally redhead has dyed her locks a shocking red.

But the new do only made the already pale star look even paler while on a night out at the weekend for fellow Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh's sister's birthday.

Nicola revealed her new look during the visit to London's trendy Burlington club.

She and Kimberly were also joined by fellow Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole.

But the wife of Ashley Cole wasn't wearing her wedding ring while out on the town.

Perma-tanned Cheryl and Kimberley only made Nicola look even pastier as she posed next to her friends for pictures.

The 23-year-old admitted earlier this year that she was so paranoid about her looks that her bandmates had taken to hiding newspaper articles from her.

She also admitted that worries about her appearance had led to a series of binge drinking sessions in her hometown of Runcorn, Cheshire.
