Splitting sensation: Pete Doherty has embarrassing wardrobe malfunction live on stage

It might not seem like a match made in heaven, but it seems badboy rocker Pete Doherty is getting his musical inspiration from an unlikely source - Welsh crooner Tom Jones.
The Babyshambles frontman had an embarrassing moment while on stage at the Loch Lomond Festival when he split his trousers mid-set.
Fans were greeted with an eyeful of the singer's underwear after the 29-year-old got a little too enthusiastic during the band's performance.

But there was no escape so Doherty was forced to grin and bear it and carry on with his set at the concert in Scotland.
The wardrobe malfunction shared some similarities to the ones which frequently befell Tom Jones.
The 68-year-old It's Not Unusual star most famously split his trousers during a performance on the BBC Variety Show in the 1980s.
Former Libertines frontman Doherty showed his sensitive side recently by performing at the wake of 16-year-old Daniel Squires, who died of bone cancer in July.
