Lisa Marie Presley is following in the celebrity twin boom by revealing she is expecting two babies.

The daughter of the King  is expecting twins with husband Michael Lockwood, her mother Priscilla has confirmed.

'She wanted it really to be kept a secret for a long time,'  she revealed on U.S TV show Entertainment Tonight.

'And I think women should, because they should be able to announce what they're having and when it's time to make the announcement.'

Presley, 40, is due to give birth later this autumn and her twins will add to her growing family.

But it is not known what the sexes the children are.

She already has two teenage children, daughter Riley, 19, and son Benjamin, 15, with ex-husband Danny Keough.
