With LA's top stylists at her disposal, the pick of Rodeo Drive boutiques and a glamorous mother to look up to you'd think Rumer Willis would know better, but it if her latest choice of dress is anything to go by her wardrobe seems to be going from bad to worse.

Arriving for the Late Show with David Letterman Rumer sported her second bad choice of outfit in as many days. 

The show, which draws millions of viewers, should have been the perfect opportunity for the fledgling actress to make a good impression in the fashion stakes but instead the 19-year-old opted for an ill-fitting strapless prom dress which did little to flatter her trim figure.

The midnight-blue hue of the dress may have complimented her pale skin and raven hair but the overly-short puff ball skirt and too-tight bodice made her look uncomfortable and rangy, not to mention the clumpy black studded heels which looked completely out of place.

For Rumer, the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, the mismatched outfit is just the latest in a long line of fashion crimes.

Only the day before Rumer was pictured strolling around New York in a frumpy grey, see-through dress that would have been better suited to drying the dishes, which she accessorised with a fingerless black glove, oversized tan handbag, jewellery, sunglasses and a bizarre duct tape-style arm bandage.

Rumer was also criticised recently when she turned up to Power Of Paws launch party in a low-cut dress that leaved little to the imagination.

Her continual lack of style leaves us wondering what the wannabe star will wear next and whether she should sack the stylist or at least take a few tips from her mother.
